One Response to “Diamond weight measurement?”
Diamonds are weighed in Metric Carats. A carat is 200mg. or one fifth of a gram. The figure you quote means 3.21 carats at a price of $8000 per carat (total $24960) This is the diamond weight of the necklace. I am not sure about the 24.15 but it would seem to be the total weight of the necklace in grams.
I hope that this helps a little.
